DOOM is a game made by John Carmack, John Romero, Adrian Carmack, Kevin Cloud, and Tom Hall and published by id Software in 1993, for MS-DOS. Basicly in DOOM you play as a space marine (Doom guy) that kills demons. To this day, DOOM still has a lot of fans playing it's new games for all the cool looking gameplay or the original game for the feeling if nostalgia. Besides this, the DOOM community has a group of people that try and succed in running DOOM on any device imaginable due to the games simplicity. This game ran on Comodore 64, pregnancy test, smart fridge even cells. There is a dedicated subreddit for this r/itrunsdoom. |
